Alabama 3 is here

Published by SligoTV on Dec.20, 2008, under Blog

I’m dead tired but I won’t let this blog alone. This is because I am very excited about the gig I just returned from.

Clarence was definitely the place to be this night and you will see what I am talking about when you browse through the photos.

I met the band before the interview and had a relaxed chat when they told me about their tour in Ireland. I also find out that they go to Oz next year in April.

SligoTV host was Shane Donnelly who was more than happy to chat with the band this evening.

We will have the video interview online soon but just for now I post some photos taken at the interview and during the gig.

If you want to watch the interview with the band who made the music for The Sopranos, stay tuned.

Interviews with No Crows & Liam Ó Maonlaí

Published by SligoTV on Dec.15, 2008, under Blog

Hi all,

We’ve been busy last week getting many interviews and just now I got some time to write about it.

On Friday we went to the Tobergal Lane in Sligo and interviewed ‘No Crows’ . They even played a song for us. We love the sound of the live music and enjoyed it much. Shane Donnelly was the SligoTV host who was doing it for the first time so we thank him for the great job. We also added a surprise at the end of the clip. Here is the video http://sligotv.ie/?view=48.

Also on Friday we met Liam Ó Maonlaí in The Factory. I personally knew very little about him and got to know more of what he is doing just by being part of the interview crew. I recommend this interview where Tony Travers was our host. Here is the video http://sligotv.ie/?view=49.

More about the Republic of Loose interview in the next post.
